Now this is Standard NS1.2 in student friendly language - I know how to add, subtract, and divide integers, fractions, and terminating decimals (rational numbers) and make a rational number with a negative exponent into a positive number.
A rational number is a number that can be expressed as a fraction or ratio (rational). The numerator and the denominator of the fraction are both integers.
Here is my example problem for Standard NS1.2 : -7 + 5
Here is an exemplar for my sample problem :
Step 1.) Write down the problem
-7 + 5
Step 2.) Add 5 to -7
-2
Step 3.) Check your work
-7 + 5
-2
