NS 1.2-Add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers (integers, fractions, and terminating decimals) and take positive rational numbers to whole-number powers.

You are able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers, fraction, and terminating decimals and take  positive numbers to whole-number powers.

5^3 *  5^7=5^10

when you multiply two numbers with exponets, you add the exponets because 5*3=5*5*5

So 5^3 * 5^7= (5*5*5) * (5*5*5*5*5*5*5)

which = 5^10
