 Victoria,Jodie,Danyelle, and Kathryn were trying to solve 500 math problems in 3 1/2 hours for homework how many problems does each girl have to do to finish in that ammount of time? 

Work

 500/4....................................................................divide 500 by the number of people doing the work 

125........................................................................................................................and you get 125

..............................................................................So each girl has to do 125 problems in 3 1/2 hours.
