Solve two step linear equations and inequalities in one variable over the rational numbers interpret the solution or solutions in the context from which they arose and verify the reasonableness of the results.

Kid Friendly Language

I think that this standard meens that I can solve any linear eqautions or ineqalites that have only two steps and include variables such as X, Y, and even stickman. 

Sample Problem

7x + 27 = 34

First subtract 27 from both sides.................................. 7x = 7

Now divide seven x by seven on both sides...................7x/7 = 7/7

Now we have x = 1
