 First you need to find the X and Y intercepts

Substitute 0 for y and then solve the equation. Then substitute 0 for x and solve the equation.               

 1.8x+7y=56                                                        1.8x+7y=56

 2. 8x+7(0)=56                                                    2. 8(0)+7y=56

 3. 8x=56                                                             3. 7y=56

 4. x=7                                                                 4. y=8

X-intercept: (7,0)                                                                                  Y-intercept= (0,8)
