Add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers (integers, fractions, and terminating decimals) and take positive rational numbers to whole-number powers.
My meaning of NS 1.2
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions, decimals, postive and negitive numbers and use exponets.
8+6(8-11)+(-4)=
=8+6[8+(-11)]+(-4)= Step1. Change all subtraction to addition.
=8+48+(-66)+(-4)= Step2. Distribute 6 to the 8 and the -11.
=8+(-12)+(-4)= Step3. Add 48 and -66.
= 8+(-16)= Step4. Add -12 and -4.
= -8 Step5. Add 8 and -16.
